Just stashin’ around….

Not much to say… spending my time with the wheel, and my vacation starts 1 WEEK FROM TOMORROW. How exciting. Hopefully Mr. Fixit and I are going to spend some quality time together and visit some places.

SO, as the title suggests, here is some of my stash lately. Hope you enjoy.

 

Mill ends, hand dyed by me..(to save saying it again, ALL the stuff i stashed in these pics are some of my hand dyes, Just to show off ya know?)

This was one of my faves.. some mystery wool, it might be mill ends, but spun up so nice and soft (the yarn is drying as I type) i’m not so sure….. I call it berries and maple sugar (suits the finished stuff to a T)

I call this Sweeney Todd, (AKA dead skunk by my sable friends) with my dark humor i couldn’t help myself. can’t wait to see how it spins up.

These two sock yarsn are dyed with Kool-Aid and Wiltons. (BTW the skein to for Freakin ever to ball up by hand)

This handspun. Interesting huh? The bright stuff became a little mudy, but i love it just the same.

Okay, that’s it for now. I have lots more, but maybe i’ll show that later. I dyed a pound of BFL in 4 oz batches last week, have yet to photog them. I had a dickens of a time keeping the cat out tho’. Oh well. Its all practice, right? i’m getting lots better, i promise.
